Buckley is a hand-lettered face with a rough but friendly look. Laura achieved the effect by using her favorite vintage Waterman Ideal #2 fountain pen. “The weight of the strokes occurs while applying pressure on the nib, and lettering on rough paper creates the distressed edges.”
There are three variations of each letter, and when contextual alternates are activated, the letters automatically cycle through their different versions, which results in a random appearance. You can also customize which variations you use by selecting the alternates in the glyph palette.
